The distillery sources 16 organic botanicals from various corners of the globe for crafting this Gin. These include mace for an earthy – spicy essence, liquorice, fruity citrus peel, angelica root, cardamom, chamomile, cranberries, ginger, lavender, and lemongrass. The Gin’s striking blue color is achieved through the infusion of a enigmatic blue flower sourced from the Far East, which reacts to acidity.
Presented in elegant black bottles adorned with art nouveau labels, The Illusionist Dry Gin boasts an alcohol content of 45%.
The Rum:
Starting from 2023, The Illusionist distillery has expanded its repertoire to include The Sentinel Scented Rum, alongside its renowned Gin production. The Rum creation involves sourcing young Rum from Paraguay, which is subsequently matured within flamed oak barrels and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks on – site. A unique aspect of this process is the implementation of ‘acoustic aging’, where sounds generate acoustic waves to purportedly hasten the maturation of the spirit.
With each bottle of Rum, a miniature container of Cocktail Scent is included, aligning with the Rum’s name, Sentinel. This scent can be sprayed onto the filled glass to enhance the flavor profile of the beverage.

The Gin distillation process at the Illusionist Distillery occurs across two stills. The first still incorporates handmade coolers crafted from laboratory glass, while the second is a traditional copper pot still. In this process, the wheat distillate, consisting of 95 percent alcohol, is combined with various botanicals. The mixture is then heated, slowly evaporated, and subsequently cooled. To safeguard and intensify the complete aroma, the Gin undergoes no chill filtration. Following distillation, the signature blue hue and faint floral notes are introduced through the addition of a unique flower, which is then removed from the spirit.
